As a professional factory and wholesale supplier, we offer a wide range of OEM and ODM customization services to our global clients. From logo customization and packaging design, we help wholesalers, importers, distributors, retailers, and individual brands build new products and expand into new markets.
Of all our customization requests, the most frequent is adding your brand logo to products. There are two common ways to add a logo: laser engraving and embossed logo. Both options effectively showcase your logo, but they differ significantly in appearance, production process, and cost.

Laser engraving is a design technique that uses a laser to imprint a logo onto the surface of a product. Once the completed logo design is input into the laser machine, the machine can then be used to process the product.
The main advantage of laser engraving is flexibility. Since no additional mold is required, it is an ideal solution for small-volume wholesale orders, product testing, and new brand launches. Once the logo artwork is confirmed, production can begin quickly without tooling costs.
From the appearance, the laser logo is very smooth, and it is difficult to feel the difference when touching it.
A embossed logo refers to a logo that is integrated into the mold during the mold-making process, making the logo an integral part of the mold and creating a permanent 3D effect.
Compared to laser-engraved logos, embossed logos appear more high-end and unique. The raised or recessed design creates a clear three-dimensional effect, making the logo easier to recognize and touch. This typically enhances product perception and strengthens user brand awareness.
Because embossing needs to be considered during the mold-making stage, it incurs additional mold costs. However, for large-scale wholesale production, embossed logos are more cost-effective in the long run. This is because laser-engraved logos involve an extra processing step, requiring more resources and time.
For small-batch orders and projects requiring flexibility and rapid response, laser logos are typically the simplest option due to their low implementation cost, speed, and ease of operation.
For large-volume wholesale orders, private label projects, or long-term OEM projects, embossed logos are a more efficient and economical solution. This is because the logo is directly engraved onto the mold, eliminating the need for additional processing steps.

We have a stainless steel cutlery factory. Besides logo customization, we can provide more complex OEM and ODM services, such as customized packaging, label design, and product branding.
