Over the centuries, many metals have been used to make tableware. The invention of the 1840s was silver plated on cheap metal, and sterling silver and silver plates continued to prevail into the early 1950s. It was later that stainless steel tableware first appeared. Stainless steel cutlery is very durable and, unlike silver plates, does not tarnish or wear badly. The production process of this kind of tableware is generally divided into 10 main processes, which are Cutting metal material; Forging press; Cutting out blanks; Piercing; Punching patterns. Polishing to shine; Cleaning; Inspection; Packaging and finally, it is transported to the customer. In order to ensure the quality, each pieces of flatware must be carefully forged through dozens of processes. A brief summary is 25 processes. In actual operation a product has to go through at least 31 processes. Cleaning runs through the entire process 4 times of grinding and 3 times of polishing, 2 times of quality inspection and so on.

On the spoon production line, the pressing machine cuts the stainless steel into a paint brush shape, then presses the metal pieces by a thick roller and thins the end of the spoon that is about to become the spoon, and then the cutting machine cuts out the fork outline, then puts the fine press to press the pattern on the spoon handle, and then passes into the press to press the spoon out of the circular groove. After the fork is made in the same way as the spoon, it then enters a press and cuts the teeth in two stages. When the static press bends the fork slightly, the support strip prevents the fork teeth from moving, and the next machine will cut off the support strip and stack the finished fork. After the stainless steel tableware process is completed, polish them with polishing equipment until the stainless steel cutlery sparkles and you get beautiful cutlery.

Polishing has two steps, one is machine polish, which is also the first polishing, mainly throwing head, handle and other parts, throwing away the rough part of raw materials. The surface of the material itself is not bright, it needs to be polished and polished to make the surface of the product bright. Polishing includes surface polishing and side polishing. The second step is mirror polishing refers to the polishing of the overall surface of the product by polishing machine and polishing materials. After all the above procedures, it is basically finished, but the brightness of the tableware is not enough at this time, so customers with high requirements need to bend and cast again.
